Qld: Search resumes for lost bushwalker

The search has resumed for a 65-year-old bushwalker missing in a south east Queensland
national park since Saturday afternoon.

ROBERT YOUNG had been bushwalking with a group of friends within the Lamington National
Park in the Gold Coast hinterland when he became separated from the group around 1.30pm
(AEST) on Saturday.

Police hold serious concerns for Mr YOUNG as overnight temperatures were expected to
drop and he was last seen wearing only shorts .. a navy blue shirt and walking boots.

He was also carrying a black backpack which may have contained a jumper and some limited
supplies.
