A pharmaceutical company has rushed to the aid of cancer patientsat the fire-stricken Royal Marsden Hospital.
Bath Aseptic Service Unit (ASU) produces chemotherapy treatmentsfor many major NHS trusts across the country and started working forthe Chelsea hospital just before Christmas.
The fire on Wednesday destroyed most of the roof of the world-famous hospital and wrecked at least five operating theatres and twowards.
The Corsham-based drug company has changed its schedules and ispreparing bespoke chemotherapy drugs to help the hospital to reopenits outpatients' department by Monday.
