RepeatSeat Announces 400% Increase in On-Line Movie Ticket Volume in First Three Months of 2007

What makes it all the more impressive is that as movie years go,it was a weak start, at one point down 5 percent in box officerevenue and down 7 percent in attendance as compared to thecomparable year-earlier period, according to figures from Media ByNumbers, an Encino-based box office tracking firm.

"This increase in on-line activity occurred during what ishistorically considered the slowest quarter in the annual moviebusiness calendar, which validates the RepeatSeat model thatrecognizes the move toward on-line and mobile ticketing" statedRepeatSeat president George Davidson.

The timing could not be better. Following "300" are a string ofpromising spring movies, and they lead into what's expected to be asummer of massive blockbusters. Forecasters for the U.S. box officein 2007 expect that the year will top $10 billion for the first timeever, up some 7 percent over 2006.
