WA: Doctors begin industrial action

PERTH, Feb 5 AAP - Perth's public hospital doctors began an industrial campaign today in an
ongoing pay dispute.

Nearly 400 doctors last night passed a vote of no-confidence in their employer, the
Metropolitan Health Services Board (MHSB), and have vowed to take what they term "professional
action".

Australian Medical Association state president Dr Rosanna Capolingua-Host said this would
include refusing to do committee work, refusing to participate in the government's waiting
list scheme and submitting pay claims for work presently done as a goodwill …
